Innovative Training Initiative Delivers Major Economic Impact and Career Advancement for Mid-Career Professionals.
Palette Skills Inc. has recognized M2M TECH for their innovative tech-based solution to upskill Canadians in Applied AI, resulting in a much-needed solution for SMEs (small and mid-sized enterprises) and how they can effectively implement AI. The DataTalent program, as part of the Upskill Canada initiative, has created an incredible impact on the country through its statistics. Since it began, it has upskilled over 15,000 mid-career Canadians to create a cumulative economic impact of over $500 million, and performances have been so impressive that leaders are coaching their teams in the same methodology.
According to the scoreboard, 89% of employers have experienced business growth due to the DataTalent program, and 79% have reported an increase in their ability to address critical skills gaps. Participants are seeing increased performance as well, as the average salary for all participants is up 16% across all programs. Mark Beckles, CEO of Palette Skills Inc., emphasized the importance of this initiative's strategy by saying, "Upskilling Canadian workers are essential to maintain Canada's economic growth and prosperity." The DataTalent program has demonstrated success in promoting diversity, with over half of the program's graduates being women, and 71% of the program’s participants being racialized (BIPOC) individuals.
The competitive landscape indicates substantial year-on-year growth in Canadian business use of AI technologies to enhance efficiency; 60% of workers perform roles that are susceptible to AI-driven transformation. M2M TECH uses practical solutions to provide measurable benefits for employers and employees. The Palette Skills Inc. case study describes a method enabling organizations without internal AI development teams to gain access to innovative AI solutions applicable in their industries.
