Ports of Indiana Names Brady Jacoba First Chief Commercial Officer

Ports of Indiana appoints Brady Jacoba as its first CCO to lead growth, partnerships, and economic development.

Ports of Indiana has named Brady Jacoba as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), creating the role for the first time in the organization’s 65-year history. The appointment shows an important focus on future growth, collaborations, and commercial development across the port system of the state. Jacoba has almost thirty years of experience in sales, marketing, real estate, and economic development. He will manage a new commercial division in charge of business development and external relations as part of his appointment as CCO of the Ports of Indiana. This highlights the Indiana port authority economic impact on employment and regional development, since Ports of Indiana oversees 2,800 acres of multifunctional property and generates $8.7 billion yearly.

CEO of Ports of Indiana, Jody Peacock, stated, "Brady's leadership and experience will benefit for our organization." “Multimodal real estate, international trade zones, barge transportation, and access to ocean containers are just a few of the numerous advantages that our ports provide.” Before joining Ports of Indiana, Jacoba worked at Volumod Indy as Vice President of Sales & Marketing, where he supported putting company-wide growth goals into action. Before this, he worked as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Lauth Group for six years, helping with expansion in the areas of property management, construction, and real estate development. He has previously worked as a commercial real estate broker and held leadership positions at Indy Chamber for eight years.

More than 50,000 jobs are supported by Ports of Indiana's three ports on the Ohio River and Lake Michigan. Major projects that support Indiana ports' economic development goals and strengthen the state's multimodal logistics real estate are being advanced by ongoing investments related to Ohio River and Lake Michigan port operations. Jacoba stated, "I'm excited to join Ports of Indiana at this important moment." "My leadership standards align perfectly with the company’s commitment to growth, innovation, and service." Modern infrastructure, increased international connections, and Indiana's role as a leader in Midwest supply chain expansion and sustainable port development are all expected results of Jacoba's leadership.
