Sun Theory appoints Mollie Culligan as CMO to lead brand expansion and drive growth across products.
Sun Theory, a fast-growing wellness and cannabis company, has hired Mollie Culligan as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Culligan will lead brand building and marketing strategy for the company's expanding portfolio of products and platforms, with a specific emphasis on national expansion of Dialed In Gummies, one of the fastest-growing rosin gummy brands in the industry.
Sun Theory is growing fast, entering new markets, and preparing to introduce additional retail and beverage brands, so the hiring of Culligan is a strategic choice. As CMO, Culligan will keep the customer top of mind in every interaction through the use of the firm's visual identity, brand narrative, and product placement.
Her guidance will be important as Sun Theory grows Dialed in Gummies and scales its offerings throughout the United States.
CEO and Co-Founder Connor Oman praised Culligan’s creative vision and strategic expertise, stating, “Mollie brings a rare blend of creative vision and strategic experience to everything she touches. She has helped shape some of the most beloved and high-performing wellness brands in the country, and we’re thrilled to have her leading the charge.”
With a deep foundation in wellness and cannabis CPG, Culligan has a proven track record of developing brands. She was instrumental in growing 710 Labs into a nationally recognized brand, and has also contributed to the success of Moon Juice, Vittoria Coffee, and NOW wellness franchise. With a track record of blending big-picture vision with ground-level execution, Culligan is excited to come aboard Sun Theory, which she describes as "a rocket ship" powered by integrity and purpose.
Culligan's own experience in the marijuana industry comes from her own family's fight against cancer and gives her a firsthand experience with cannabis's medicinal potential. Her marketing strategy is based on concrete consumer insight, story-based communications, and values-driven methods.
