The latest HarmonyOS 5.0 update enhances user experience with new tools and optimizations.

Huawei has released it’s first-ever software update for the Watch GT 5 Pro, introducing a host of new features and improvements. This update, based on HarmonyOS 5.0 and designated version 5.0.0.97, comes with a download size of 30.66 MB.

Among the significant additions is the RouteDraw feature, which recommends creative running routes with stopovers to make workouts more engaging. Additionally, a new calculator app has been integrated for convenient calculations directly on the wrist, alongside a quick recording tool added to the Stay Fit app.

The update also optimizes the user experience with improved customization options for gallery watch faces, allowing users to create personalized designs via the Huawei Health app. New animations have been introduced for the watch face pet, Panda, and users can now take standalone screenshots that save to their phone's gallery when connected.

Huawei has emphasized system stability improvements in specific scenarios, ensuring a smoother performance. The update is being rolled out in batches, and users can manually check for availability through the Huawei Health app.
