BNCEL’s Christmas event raised £2,260 for four charities, highlighting collaboration, community impact, and strong business networking.
Business Network Central and East Lancashire (BNCEL) ended its 2025 networking cycle at the annual Christmas at Mytton Fold. With a touching demonstration of collaboration and kindness, raising a total of £2,260 for its four charity members. Advocacy Focus, Let's Make a Difference, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, and The Wish Center will divide the funding equally. During the event, a donation certificate was given to each charity, highlighting BNCEL's dedication to supporting organizations in the area that actually make an impact.
Businesses of all sizes donated to the amount, which was funded through a strong auction and on-the-day donations. The event reflected the network's main goal, which is to build important connections that are helpful to the community and business. Members of the charity received recognition as well for their significant efforts throughout the course of the year. Their involvement ensures that BNCEL continues to be a center for collaboration and social impact instead of just a business networking organization by providing insight, purpose, and a community-based focus.
"Our members never fail to take action forward," stated Karen Tems, the owner and founder of BNCEL. “We are truly happy to be able to support these four organizations in such an important manner, since they work hard for our communities. The room's amazing charity speaks clearly about the businesses and individuals that make the network what it truly is today.” All four charitable organizations' representatives appeared to claim their certificates, with funds meant to benefit those in need, families, and important health services across Lancashire. By 2026 BNCEL will return with a full program of activities and collaboration while creating a positive influence, suggesting that strong networks strengthen communities.
