IFS named Robi Gone as CIO to strengthen IT strategy, improve AI integration, and lead digital transformation worldwide.
Robi Gone has been selected as the next Chief Information Officer (CIO) of IFS, a world leader in Industrial AI software. Helena Nimmo is retiring after a successful career with the company. As a member of the Executive Board, Gone will be in charge of IFS's worldwide IT strategy and answers directly to Mark Moffat, the company's CEO. Gone’s experience in broad digital transformation and his abilities to create advanced technological platforms were highlighted by Moffat.
In addition, he expressed his gratefulness towards Helena Nimmo for her work in improving cybersecurity and IT systems and incorporating AI into IFS operations while supporting diversity and inclusion within the organization. Gone comes to IFS from Shell, where he held the highest IT leadership positions for over ten years. In his most recent role as IT worldwide GM for Finance, he managed worldwide projects for SaaS installations, enterprise performance management, and financial platforms while leading Shell's digital transformation through next-generation ERP systems.
He gained useful knowledge in corporate IT and business transformation while working with Deloitte and Accenture earlier in his career. He stated, expressing his excitement about joining IFS, that "IFS is a worldwide leader in industrial AI, and I look forward to make sure our technological foundation matches that same level of innovation and excellence." IFS was founded in 1983 and uses its AI-powered, flexible platform in order to support businesses that maintain complex resources and manage service operations. Robi Gone's leadership at IFS, is the next step toward a future where IT and AI cooperate to make businesses smarter, adaptable, and able to predict problems before they occur.
