Massant leads SSH’s people strategy, driving transformation in the Middle East and Africa.
SSH Design, the Middle East and Africa-based leading consultancy, has welcomed Sophie Jules Massant as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Dubai-based Massant will spearhead SSH's people strategy, with a focus on transforming organizations in the region. Her job is to propel major initiatives like leadership development, employee experience, and strategic organizational change. Massant arrives at her new role with extensive experience under her belt. Prior to SSH, she held the position of Chief Support Officer at Rasan for more than two years, where she led cross-functional teams in HR, IT, Communications, and Procurement. She was instrumental in IPO readiness for the company as well as establishing OKR-based performance systems. Massant's leadership has been instrumental in spearheading employee experience programs and synchronizing organizational strategies with business objectives.
Previously in her career, Massant was in a strategic HR leadership position with Bahri, where she directed compensation reviews, digital change initiatives, and talent development programs. Her emphasis was on building a diverse, region-based workforce. She has also contributed to various government-supported projects, the aim being to assist the development of young national talents. Massant's previous experience includes serving as the HR Manager for Jacobs for the Expo 2020 Programme Office, where she worked together on Emiratization and regional leadership development. She has also served in senior HR roles at DP World, Seadrill, Suez, and APM Terminals, developing international experience in employee engagement, stakeholder alignment, and organizational design across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. Her knowledge will be instrumental in assisting SSH through organizational expansion while making talent management approaches correspond with business requirements.
