HAT Distribution launches Paessler MSP program in A/NZ to boost flexible, scalable managed services.
HAT Distribution has brought German monitoring software company Paessler's exclusive Managed Service Provider (MSP) program to the Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) region, building on a global program currently sold throughout Europe and the US. The program, which was recently introduced, is specifically aimed at assisting MSPs in scaling and optimizing their managed service offerings using a predictable and profitable solution. It aims to facilitate the delivery of managed services in key areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and data analytics.
Program key features include co-marketing opportunities, customized training, and increased co-marketing investment as well as flexible licensing, service-led, and strong MSP support. Product portfolio augmentation is also a feature of the program. Dedicated sales resources and incentivised tiered discounting are also provided by the program for MSPs to increase their reach and profitability. HAT Distribution has been the sole A/NZ distributor of Paessler's PRTG network monitor solution over the last five years. As HAT director Josh Gammer puts it, the introduction of this MSP-targeted initiative is a reaction to changing market demands.
“We’ve seen a growing demand from our partners for solutions that offer greater flexibility and scalability,” said Gammer. “This MSP program is the next logical step, providing tools and support to help our partners grow and meet their clients' complex IT requirements.” Edward Knight, Paessler’s Director of MSP, added that the program is designed to allow service providers to seamlessly integrate Paessler’s monitoring capabilities into their managed service offerings.
"With our adaptable licensing and service-based model, MSPs are able to customize our tech to suit their requirements and bring tangible value to their customers," Knight said. The announcement is a major lift for the managed services market in A/NZ, giving MSPs new opportunities to differentiate and broaden their services.
