Vcloudia, a new cloud platform, is launched by Viettel IDC, supporting digital transformation and a smarter AI-driven future.
IDC, a division of Viettel's Military Industry and Telecoms Group, has launched Vcloudia, its worldwide cloud brand, in Cambodia. This is the first step the company made in order to offer cloud services beyond Vietnam. In order to help with the digital transformation of Cambodian businesses and government organizations, Vcloudia was created as an open and flexible cloud platform. Providing advanced digital infrastructure and a number of cloud services.
Cambodia has many opportunities for digital growth, according to Le Ba Tan, Director of Viettel IDC. Cambodia continues to grow as one of Southeast Asia's finest digital markets, he said, due to its young population, high usage of the internet, a strong economy, and government support for digital projects. Using Viettel IDC's 20 years of expertise in Vietnam, Vcloudia has been designed for the Cambodian market. The brand highlights the close relationship between the two nations and reflects Viettel's future goal of helping Cambodia's digital economy.
Viettel IDC plans to partner with Qualcomm to provide artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. Businesses will be allowed to use data accurately, perform better, and set new business opportunities with the help of these technological advances. The need for digital infrastructure in Cambodia is growing quickly, especially in banking, e-commerce, logistics, and educational areas. The cloud computing market is expected to rise 17.1% yearly to $371 million by 2027, according to Ipsos analysis. With an aim to remain as a leading digital platform, supporting innovation and shaping a smarter AI-driven future.
