Rekaz raises $5 million to expand its AI-driven SaaS platform for service-based SMBs in the GCC.
Saudi-based Rekaz, a top SaaS solution provider to small and medium-sized service companies, has managed to raise a $5 million seed round to continue developing and expanding its AI-driven operating system. COTU Ventures headed the round, with further investments from Impact46, Shorooq Partners, Numrah Capital, and some prominent angel investors. The investment will help Rekaz build out its platform's features and expand its reach in the GCC and beyond.
Rekaz was founded in 2017 by Abdulrahman Alomran and Abdulaziz Alkharashi. The firm delivers one SaaS platform that streamlines fundamental business tasks like scheduling, payments, subscription, and customer interactions. Employed by service businesses like gyms, salons, clinics, and home service providers, the platform allows clients to replace disparate tools and manual workflows with one smart system that optimizes processes and improves efficiency.
Rekaz's platform is constructed with AI-based workflows that learn to match the specific requirements of unique businesses. If it is a gym, beauty parlor, or clinic, Rekaz's platform unifies multiple operations, allowing businesses to deploy branded booking websites and applications while handling more than 1 million appointments on over 7,000 businesses.
"We are doing for service SMBs what Shopify did for e-commerce," CEO and co-founder Abdulrahman Alomran stated. By offering an intelligent, adaptable SaaS solution, Rekaz empowers businesses to digitize, expand, and work more effectively. With this extra capital, Rekaz will speed up AI development and increase its operations, turning into a crucial infrastructure provider for the regional service economy. The investment is a decisive move towards Rekaz as a market leader in the SaaS market among service-based SMBs.
