Perbet promoted to lead revenue strategy, sales, partnerships, and growth at IO Interactive
With a focus on his increased duties as Chief Revenue Officer, IO Interactive has announced Olivier Perbet's promotion to Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer (CMRO). Perbet will oversee all revenue-generating operations for the independent game developer in this capacity, including partnerships, business development and digital and physical sales and commercial strategy.
Perbet has contributed to expanding IOI's worldwide reach since joining the studio in 2023 as Chief Marketing Officer. HITMAN World of Assassination reached 80 million players under his direction and the release of 007 First Light attracted a lot of attention. Perbet's primary responsibility as CRO will be to update IOI's revenue operations in order to facilitate the studio's aggressive expansion goals. He will direct the business's strategy for market expansion, sales execution and planned alliance by making sure that publishing intellectual property launches and continuing business objectives are all in line.
The planned importance of combining marketing and revenue departments under a single leadership position was stated by CEO Hakan Abrak. He pointed out that in order to advance policymaking IO Interactive chose to combine the CMO and CRO roles rather than growing the executive team. The studio's lasting sustainable growth according to Abrak depends on Olivier Perbet's exceptional ability to blend a strong commercial sense with a creative brand vision.
Olivier Perbet expressed his excitement for taking on the enlarged position. He said that IO Interactive is proud to be at the forefront of the company's revenue strategy and that it is at a essential moment in its history. Perbet gave importance to his dedication to creating important alliances and providing outstanding gaming experiences to a worldwide audience. Perbet's leadership is expected to be important in expanding IOI's influence as a publisher and developer especially with projects like Project Fantasy in production and 007 First Light in the public eye.
