NTT Com Asia appoints Steven So as CTO to drive AI and digital transformation initiatives.
NTT Com Asia, a senior member of the NTT Group, has appointed Steven So as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in Hong Kong. The leadership move comes as a testament to the company's drive to building digital transformation and intelligent infrastructure in the region, reinforcing its market leadership position as a telecommunication and ICT leader. In his role as CTO, Steven So will lead NTT Com Asia's technology direction, and more specifically, the utilization of the strength of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the digital landscape of the company. He will be in charge of the company's digital business and ensure the creation of innovative solutions that enable operational excellence and achieve better, customer-focused results.
“As the AI Enabler, our vision is to always break new ground in digital innovation and realise the full potential of AI," said Steven So. He also highlighted NTT Com Asia's robust AI foundation with the introduction of their AI-Driven Data Centre, Private 5G wireless connectivity, and the open smart building platform OCEAN IntelligenceTM. All these innovations are important to make the company AI-driven transformation leader.
Before becoming the CTO, Steven So was leading NTT Com Asia's data center business, leading the company's digital infrastructure transformation with intelligent operations and AI-centric solutions. With his rich industry experience, his vision-driven leadership and technical capability uniquely position him to lead NTT Com Asia's AI revolution.
