Adam Toy leads safe Kubernetes solutions for government projects and builds for the cloud, joins RGS as CTO.

Rancher Government Solutions (RGS) is a leading provider of safe open-source Kubernetes and container management solutions for the US government has appointed Adam Toy as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Toy, a founding member of the RGS technical leadership team, has more than a decade of experience in providing open source, mission-ready infrastructure for military and federal organizations. He was fundamental in the development of several of RGS's fundamental platforms, including as RKE2, Harvester Government, and Carbide tools, which assist secure, lawful and scalable cloud-native deployments in air-gapped and tactical environments.

As RGS fortifies its technical leadership to meet the increasing need for innovative, robust systems across government sectors, Toy's promotion represents a major advancement for the company. Notably, he oversaw the introduction of Harvester Government, the first hyperconverged infrastructure platform aligned with FIPS and created especially to meet the demands of the US public sector. Since day one agencies have benefited from his work on RKE2, which has allowed them to deploy safe Kubernetes solutions with combined federal compliance. Furthermore, Toy was instrumental in the development of Carbide a tool that assists agencies in maintaining software integrity through digitally signed SBOMs and effective CI/CD security and the NeuVector combo for vessel runtime security.
