Skoda has unveiled the 2025 Enyaq RS Race Concept, a lighter, quicker, and more sustainable electric SUV featuring enhanced aerodynamics and race-ready features.
Skoda unveiled the 2025 version of its Enyaq RS Race Concept, which is an updated version of the original concept vehicle that was shown in 2024. This latest variant takes a close inspiration from the updates that have been incorporated in the production-ready Enyaq Coupe RS this year. The latest concept is all about performance and technology, retaining its electric powertrain while incorporating a number of updates to make it lighter, quicker, and greener.
The 2025 Enyaq RS Race Concept features a weight reduction from carbon fibre to bio-composite materials, including flax fibres, on body panels, reducing weight, making the car more environmentally friendly and agile.
The concept's design also gets a functional makeover. The vehicle stands 70 mm lower than its production equivalent, with the track widened to 72 mm at the front and 116 mm in the rear. Race-suspension and carbon ceramic brakes also imbue it with an additional overlay of track competency. The interior, bare to its racing configuration, includes a pair of six-point harness-equipped bucket seats, a 13-inch center infotainment screen, and a supplementary 5-inch screen for the digital cluster.
Under the bonnet, the Enyaq RS Race Concept shares the same 335 bhp and 545 Nm powertrain as the production car, with a top speed limited to 180 km/h. However due to the weight shed, the 0-100 km/h is 0.9 seconds quicker, taking 4.6 seconds for the dash.
This new Enyaq RS Race Concept not only demonstrates Skoda's dedication to performance and sustainability but also the direction of electric motorsport with its rally-inspired aero body work and bold design features.
