Smart Spaces 2025 celebrates top properties using proptech to improve living, operations and sustainability.

The 2025 Property Innovation Awards which is organized by Parks Associates are now open for nominations. These awards will recognize properties and teams that are using proptech in smart, impactful ways. The winners will be announced at the Smart Spaces conference, taking place September 16–17 in Dallas, Texas.

Now in its third year, Smart Spaces focuses on technology in apartments, healthcare buildings and community living. It brings together industry experts to explore how technology is changing the way people live and work in multi-unit buildings. Nominees should show how proptech has helped improve operations, increase resident or guest experiences increase sustainability or deliver strong returns on investment. Nominations are open until July 18.

The event will be held at the HALL Arts Hotel in Dallas and is sponsored by major industry players like ADT Multifamily, Cox Communities, SmartRent and more. Elizabeth Parks, President and CMO of Parks Associates, said the awards aim to spotlight new properties and how they’re using technology to meet growing expectations in smart living.

Throughout the two-day conference, Parks Associates will also share new research on managed Wi-Fi, bulk broadband and smart home tools. Topics will cover everything from energy efficiency and access control to the impact of AI, InsurTech and regulation changes in multifamily housing.

Conference sessions include discussions on future-proofing real estate, managing smart systems in hospitality, and improving property maintenance through tech. Smart Spaces serves as a platform for professionals to connect, share ideas, and stay ahead in the fast-growing world of proptech.
