HPE Aruba expands deployment choices, enhancing network control, security and AI-powered insights.
As the need for local network and enterprise data control increases, HPE Aruba Networking's flagship network management platform can now accommodate four different deployment choices.
In addition to the current cloud-delivered SaaS and Network as a Service models, HPE Aruba Networking Central is now available in four deployment options: virtual private cloud, on-premises, and virtual private cloud. The company claims that these additional alternatives will assist businesses and government organizations in meeting legal requirements and adhering to strict security standards, including GDPR, FINRA, and SOX.
According to Alan Ni, senior director of edge marketing at HPE Aruba, the company is growing its virtual private cloud deployment strategy to accommodate more cloud providers in accordance with particular customer needs or host clients in a "cloud of one" as opposed to a multi-tenant environment.
HPE claims that it is able to offer more options in deployment when compared to other network management platforms currently on the market. Many customers find the new Central platform deployment choices to be "game-changing," according to Andy Segal, president of solution provider and HPE Aruba partner Vandis located in Albertson, N.Y.
The AIOps capabilities of HPE Aruba Networking Central now provide 20 different AI-powered, always-on automated network assistants. These assistants can monitor, diagnose, and signal optimization alerts to network operators when performance concerns are identified.
Additionally, the company revealed that it has expanded its telemetry and data lake capabilities from 4 million in 2024 to over 2 billion network devices served and over 5.2 million devices managed. Over the prior year, this translates to an annualized growth rate of 30% and 100%, respectively.
AI capabilities were added to HPE Aruba Central six months ago, allowing third parties to monitor customer networks including those with competing hardware from Palo Alto Networks, Juniper Networks, and Cisco Systems.
