Louis Vuitton introduces beauty line this autumn, aiming to compete with luxury cosmetic leaders.
In order to compete with its luxury generations, Louis Vuitton declared that it would introduce its own beauty brand this autumn. While Christian Dior, Chanel, YSL, and Tom Ford have long been well-known cosmetics brands, certain other high-end fashion labels, such as Gucci, Hermès, and Dries Van Noten, have just recently increased their beauty product lines.
The first line of cosmetics from La Beauté Louis Vuitton will be revealed. According to the faculty at Parsons clothes School in Paris, France, this is a wise business decision because, in their opinion, the beauty and runway legs of premium clothes are what really sustain haute couture.
Diane Caranica, a makeup artist who has been impacted by McGrath's career in beauty since long before she became a professional makeup artist herself, strongly concurs that McGrath is one of the most influential makeup artists in the world.
Each of the more recent cosmetics brands in luxury fashion aims to dominate at least one market with their Holy Grail product. For example, Gucci's L'Obscur Mascara is of a quality that is difficult to find elsewhere. However, their selection of powder blushes and bronzers is remarkable, and actress Julia Garner says their serum is a must-have for pre-glam skin preparation.
Petro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Louis Vuitton, explains that La Beauté Louis Vuitton represents a natural evolution for the business, driven by a focus on quality, formulation, and innovation. He notes that this new venture allows the brand to better serve clients in their daily lives with both purpose and enjoyment, while also continuing to honor its creativity and heritage.
The luxury fashion crowd is eagerly awaiting the cosmetics, packaging, and accessories that the storied French fashion house plans to introduce, so all that's left to do is wait and see what the brand has in store.
