CARMA Expands to Japan, Enhancing PR and Media Intelligence

CARMA expands into Japan, offering advanced PR solutions and media intelligence for global success.

Media intelligence and research solutions company, CARMA, has officially placed its global footprint by launching a new office in Tokyo, Japan. This strategic expansion reflects the company's dedication to providing innovative Public Relations (PR) and communications solutions to an increasingly dynamic Japanese market. CARMA's new office will offer customized PR measurement approaches and data-driven insights, which are essential for organizations operating in today's dynamic media and communications environment.

The Head of the new Tokyo office is Kenichiro Watai-san, a veteran media executive with more than 30 years of experience in the business. Watai-san's background includes Group Account Director at BBDO Worldwide and Deputy General Manager at Hakuhodo. His experience will be instrumental in assisting Japanese companies, as well as global organizations doing business in Japan, in utilizing CARMA's advanced media intelligence tools.

Watai-san was keen to join CARMA, commenting, "It is really meaningful to bring the world's most sophisticated PR measurement techniques to Japanese clients. With a rapidly changing, fast-paced media landscape, CARMA's intelligence can enable organizations to act swiftly and make informed decisions to remain competitive."

CARMA has been representing various Fortune 500 companies in Japan across a variety of sectors such as banking, automotive, FMCG, and technology for many years. On opening its new Tokyo office, CARMA intends to amplify its support for Japanese clients through offering AI-powered solutions, real-time media monitoring, and nuanced communications advice. The new office represents CARMA's 23rd worldwide office, making it an industry leader in the global communications and PR market.

As Andrew Nicholls, CARMA Managing Director, states, "Japanese clients place a premium on quality, and CARMA's blend of technology, global experience, and local presence puts us in an excellent position to assist them in navigating the intricate and competitive international marketplace."
