ASC Advisors Hires Max Rayden as Senior Director to Expand South Florida Market

ASC Advisors, a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based boutique strategic communications agency with expertise in alternative investment managers, has named Max Rayden to the newly established role of Senior Director. Rayden will be responsible for efforts to further establish the firm's presence within South Florida's vibrant financial environment. His hire, effective Monday, is part of a strategic effort to serve ASC's increasingly large client list of private equity, hedge fund, venture capital, and real estate hedge fund clients.

Rayden comes with rich experience to his new position, having worked for a number of years as an advisor to clients in capital markets, including asset managers, private credit funds, and banks. Prior to coming on board at ASC Advisors, Rayden was in senior roles at Edelman Smithfield, where he offered strategic communications advice to alternative investment firms. He has also worked with JConnelly and asset management, family offices, and equity sales in London and New York.

At ASC Advisors, Rayden will be centered on advising clients through their business life cycles. His work will involve brand creation, media engagement, regulatory relations, and special situations, among other things, as well as managing issues such as activist investor interactions. Rayden's familiarity with the financial industry and love for the alternative investment arena place him in perfect position for the job.
