Apple's foldable iPhone to feature slim design, advanced hinge, and premium performance
Apple is said to be planning to release its first-ever foldable iPhone in 2026 as it enters the market for foldable smartphones. As reported by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the phone will have a book-style foldable mechanism similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series of phones instead of the clamshell fold.
The future foldable iPhone is likely to borrow ideas from the reported iPhone 17 Air, which would be Apple's thinnest device yet.
