Citrix enhances security with FedRAMP High accreditation, acquisitions, and CISA pledge.

Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, Inc., revealed major upgrades of its platform targeted at enhancing the security of that platform and ensuring customers' comfort in this continuously changing digital terrain. A significant milestone for Citrix is its advancement toward FedRAMP High accreditation for its Citrix Cloud™ Government (CCG) platform. This achievement will enable Citrix to meet the highest security standards required by public sector customers, including the Department of Defense. Furthermore, Citrix signed up for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) Secure by Design Pledge. More than 250 major companies, among them, are now under Citrix’s commitment for its comprehensive security practice, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and timely patch of security problems. This emphasizes Citrix' dedication to providing safe products which their customers may trust.

Citrix has also made strategic acquisitions to bolster its security offerings. The acquisition of deviceTRUST GmbH enhances the platform’s ability to verify device compliance in real-time, ensuring a secure hybrid work environment. The Strong Network SA acquisition adds secure cloud development capabilities with advanced data loss prevention and compliance with NIST and ISO standards. These acquisitions strengthen Citrix’s position as a leading provider of secure hybrid solutions.
