Taco Bell's crispy chicken nuggets, paired with unique sauces, hit U.S. menus for a limited time.
Taco Bell is shaking up its menu by introducing crispy chicken nuggets, available for a limited time starting Thursday, December 19. The fast-food chain, known for its Mexican-inspired offerings, is venturing into the world of chicken nuggets with a bold twist. The nuggets will be seasoned with a zesty jalapeño buttermilk marinade and coated in a blend of breadcrumbs and crunchy tortilla chips, delivering a flavor-packed crunch.
This follows successful market testing in Minneapolis and Houston earlier this year, and Taco Bell is itching to bring them to its 8,565 U.S. locations. Crispy chicken nuggets will be available à la carte or as part of a combo meal with a choice of three dipping sauces: Hidden Valley Fire Ranch, Bell Sauce, and Jalapeño Honey Mustard.
Variety-seekers can be satisfied through Taco Bell as it serves several meals. Nuggets will go for five counts at $3.99, while a ten-count will go for $6.99. A combo meal that will range from $5.99 to $8.99 will come with either five or ten nuggets accompanied by Nacho Fries, nacho cheese sauce, and a large drink. For a more indulgent option, the $10.49 deluxe meal includes five nuggets, a dipping sauce, a Crunchy Taco, Beef Chalupa, Nacho Fries, and a medium fountain drink.
Taco Bell's Chief Marketing Officer, Taylor Montgomery, said that it is excited to bring innovation to an American classic now that the Nacho Fries have been a success. Chicken fast-food items continue to gain popularity, which is why Taco Bell also wants to compete with those industry giants like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, and Wendy's.
With the fast-food industry embracing the chicken trend, Taco Bell is counting on its bold and unexpected approach to chicken nuggets to hook hungry customers.
