Realme’s 14 Pro Series 5G features color-changing design, advanced cameras, and rugged durability.

Realme is preparing to close 2024 with the launch of one of its most awaited series 5G, the Realme 14 Pro Series in collaboration with Valeur Designers, a Nordic industrial design studio. The specific date for the launch hasn't been revealed, but Realme has given the first preview of the design, which features temperature-responsive, color-changing back cover for this series. This color-changing back cover feature should put the Realme 14 Pro Series on equal footing with the Redmi Note 14 Pro Series.

The 14 Pro Series will include thermochromic pigments that respond to temperature changes with color change. The back cover will turn from a pearl white into a vibrant blue when the temperature goes down below 16°C and turns back to the original as temperatures rise. This is inspired by the dynamic colors of deep-sea creatures and will surely bring out an eye-catching and interactive design. The "Unique Pearl Design" variant will have a shell-like texture made from organic seashell powder, making each device unique. The back cover has been made from 95% eco-friendly, bio-based materials by going through a very tedious 30-step process, as Realme emphasizes its commitment to sustainability.

The Realme 14 Pro+ 5G will be sporting a quad-curved display, which is said to have an even more impressive 93.8% screen-to-body ratio for an immersive experience. This advanced screen tech was first seen in the Realme GT 7 Pro. The 14 Pro Series will also debut with the "Ocean Oculus" triple-camera system, along with MagicGlow Triple Flash, for bright night portraits and natural skin tones in all lighting conditions.

Powering the Realme 14 Pro Series would be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, according to Realme claims, saying that the new phones are going to better the Redmi Note 14 series in camera capabilities. With IP66, IP68, and IP69, the 14 Pro Series is more rugged with capabilities in dust, immersion in water, and also high-pressure jets.

Realme is targeting domination of the mid-range market with the 14 Pro Series, riding on the success of its Realme 13 Pro series earlier this year.
