Alan Mayer has the baggage of extensive customer success and go-to-market strategy experience. Mayer brings with him more than 22 years of experience to Electro Rent. Prior to joining Electro Rent, he was Senior Vice President at Optiv, a leading cybersecurity advisory and solutions leader. In his previous role at Optiv, he drove partnerships, alliances, and solutions. Prior to that, he had a major part of his career at Dell where he served in sales, services, and customer success in several business sectors. His leadership in driving the channel strategy and executing critical programs in distribution, retail, and channel services helped Dell improve its customer offerings and business operations.
At Electro Rent, Mayer will focus on helping the company expand its market reach and customer base while focusing on the value proposition of the services. His customer success background, combined with rich experience in technology companies, is going to be crucial for Electro Rent to capitalize on growth in rental solutions within the test equipment sector.
