Penny Philpot, Red Hat's EMEA channel leader, highlighted the importance of this new approach, emphasizing that it’s about creating a consistent and seamless experience for partners worldwide. "We want to ensure that not only is our partner program consistent, but that the overall experience is uniform across regions," Philpot explained.
In the past, Red Hat had different approaches tailored to specific regions. While these made sense at the time, the company now recognizes the need for a more cohesive global strategy. "Partners aren't confined to just one region—they operate globally. We're now focusing on bringing the best practices together into one unified program," Philpot added.
This change is particularly beneficial for partners who previously had to navigate different expectations and requirements depending on their location. The new program is designed to be simpler, offering an activities-based framework that streamlines previously disjointed incentives.
