Oracle and AT&T Transforming Industry Cloud Solutions with Unified Connectivity and Real-Time Data

Oracle is set to revolutionize its Enterprise Communications Platform (ECP) by integrating AT&T's advanced IoT connectivity and network APIs. This collaboration promises to offer Oracle's industry cloud customers a seamless platform for managing and connecting their IoT devices via AT&T's robust network.

This strategic integration leverages AT&T’s high-performance network to deliver superior IoT connectivity and near real-time communication capabilities across Oracle’s suite of industry cloud applications. The new all-in-one solution, featuring integrated IoT edge application management, is designed to simplify the complexities of network integrations and contractual agreements for customers.

Built on the secure and high-performance infrastructure of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), the unified platform will provide businesses with the essential connectivity and real-time data intelligence needed to drive innovation and enhance service delivery. Currently, the AT&T IoT connectivity and network API integration is available across OCI regions in the US.

ECP, supported by AT&T, is paving the way for innovative applications across various sectors, from consumer services to industrial operations. The partnership aims to deliver high-performing, reliable connectivity, fostering innovation and enabling new service possibilities. Potential applications include enhanced communications in restaurant operations, automated utility grid management, and advanced telehealth solutions.

A standout example of this collaboration is the integration of FirstNet—AT&T’s public safety network—into Oracle’s Public Safety suite. This integration forms a critical backbone for secure communications in dispatch centers and near real-time camera feeds for first responders.
