Oberoi Group Marks 90 Years with New Scholarships Honoring Founders and Advancing Hospitality Careers
In honor of its 90th anniversary, the Oberoi Group has unveiled a series of scholarships designed to support and inspire future leaders in the hospitality industry. These new programs pay tribute to the company's founders, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi and Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi, reflecting their enduring legacy and commitment to excellence.
The Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi ‘Dare to Dream’ scholarship is aimed at hotel operations employees from hotels across India that are not part of the Oberoi Group. This scholarship offers a unique opportunity to pursue an MBA in hospitality at the prestigious Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), one of the world's leading hospitality schools.
In parallel, the Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi ‘Be the Best’ scholarship is targeted at employees within the Oberoi Group, both in India and abroad. This scholarship also provides a chance to earn an MBA in hospitality at EHL, with the added benefit of a Best Practice Tour. Over two years, recipients will stay at some of the world’s most renowned hotels, gaining valuable insights into global best practices in hospitality.
These initiatives are part of the Oberoi Group’s ongoing effort to foster talent and drive innovation in the hospitality sector, honoring the vision of its founders by nurturing the next generation of industry leaders.
