Loveholidays Cancels Middle East Holidays until Summer 2026 Amid Travel Disruptions

Ongoing Middle East conflict triggers widespread holiday cancellations, airline schedule cuts, and growing uncertainty for travellers across major regional and international routes.

Loveholidays has extended cancellations of Middle East holidays until June 2026. This has impacted various tourists in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan. This decision was made in late March 2026 due to regional conflict, fuel price increases, and government travel warnings.

Loveholidays has announced that it will not offer any package holidays to these destinations until March, April, and May 2026. All trips scheduled up until May 10 have been canceled, including those that include connecting flights. This decision has been made due to disruptions in Middle Eastern travel due to regional conflict. KLM has canceled flights from May 11 to 17 in the Middle East, and flexible refund policies are available on various airlines.

A spokesperson for Loveholidays commented, “We want to provide customers with as much certainty as possible and offer the flexibility to make alternative travel plans.” This comes amid a search for holiday cancellation refund policies 2026, amid rising uncertainty.

The impact of the crisis is not only affecting tour operators. This comes amid announcements from airlines, including United Airlines, which have cut capacity. This includes cutting flights during the summer season. The rising fuel costs, which have resulted from the crisis, have resulted in airline flight cuts in summer 2026. This has affected other airlines, including Air New Zealand and SAS.

Although some airlines have remained stable, given the pricing of fuel, there remains uncertainty over Middle East travel. This remains to be seen amid further announcements Business Honor sees Loveholidays’ Middle East cancellations as a strategic move to manage risk and maintain customer trust amid travel disruptions.
