Cadillac has introduced the Opulent Velocity, a cutting-edge concept vehicle that pushes the boundaries of electric performance and autonomous driving. As the latest addition to Cadillac’s V-Series, Opulent Velocity combines state-of-the-art technology with bespoke luxury, embodying the brand's vision for the future of high-end electric vehicles.

This concept car features Level 4 autonomous driving capabilities, allowing for a hands-free journey enhanced by multi-sensory modes. These modes, accessible through a widescreen display and Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR HUD), offer a personalized experience designed for relaxation and immersion. Cadillac’s deep exploration into the science of sound and light waves is evident throughout the cabin, where ambient lighting and curated entertainment create an atmosphere of refined sophistication. However, Opulent Velocity is not just about passive luxury. With the touch of a multi-functional controller, the vehicle seamlessly transitions from autonomous mode to Velocity mode. In this mode, the steering wheel and pedals emerge, inviting the driver to take control and experience the thrill of a hypercar. The front seats, integrated with a cantilevered Y-shaped console and connected directly to the doors, ensure stability during high-speed maneuvers.

Bryan Nesbitt, Executive Director of Global Cadillac Design, described Opulent Velocity as an experience-driven design study. He asserted that it embodies the highest standards in sophistication, exhilaration and technology seen in Cadillac's V-Series and upcoming electrified designs.
