Ariana Grande has ended her tour entitled Eternal Sunshine with an emotional performance at the O2 Arena in London, after which she thanked her fans for their support and announced her break from the spotlight.
This event in London signified the end of her 41-show tour around the USA, Canada, and the UK. Ariana became very emotional during her last performance on Tuesday as she tried to express her feelings without “sobbing completely.”
Ariana called her tour “the most beautiful, extraordinary experience” in her life and thanked her fans for following her all through her performances.
“I will always treasure this experience,” she said to the audience, who she referred to as the best fans in the world.
Grande confirmed in August that she would take a hiatus from public engagements once she had finished her shows. The representative stated that Grande would take some time off after the tour because of the criticism she faced in the media.
Moreover, Grande gave her last performances without wearing her characteristic shoes – six-inch platform boots since she injured her foot. Nevertheless, she assured her followers that she is getting better and kept performing although she looks shorter than usual.
London show attendees loved the unique style of Grande, coming to her concerts in stilettos, cat ears, and high ponytails. The pop star appreciated the effort of her fans and expressed gratitude for helping to keep her tour memorable. Her last song was preceded by a science fiction act when Grande reappeared on the spacecraft and rose in a beam of light towards a mothership.
Although her next event is yet unknown, she is expected to participate in the MTV Video Music Awards, in which she is nominated for artist of the year. Business Honor observes that Grande’s tour closure marks a natural pause after an extensive run, giving the singer time away from constant public attention while her music continues to reach audiences.
