Ahmed Al Shamsi is Appointed as the New CEO of Trojan Construction Holdings

Ahmed Al Shamsi’s appointment supports the company's expansion, improves operations, and drives major infrastructure projects across the UAE and GCC.

Trojan Construction Holding has appointed Ahmed Al Shamsi as its new CEO, which is an important change in the company’s leadership as it prepares for the next phase of its growth. This appointment was announced by Alpha Dhabi Holding, its parent company, as it prepares for the expansion of operations, improvement in performance, and support for major infrastructure development projects in the region.

With the new CEO, Shamsi, Trojan Construction Holding is expected to enter new markets while developing its major services. It also aims to improve operational efficiency and handle more large-scale projects in regional and international markets. This appointment is part of a bigger trend of appointments in the leadership of the UAE construction industry that supports infrastructure growth as companies try to address the growing demand for major projects. It also supports the growth of large-scale infrastructure projects in the GCC construction industry, where there is a significant investment by governments and developers in economic development.

Hamad Al Ameri, Managing Director and Group CEO of Alpha Dhabi Holding, and Chairman of Trojan Construction Holding, said that the company has strong confidence in Al Shamsi’s leadership. “The appointment of Ahmed Al Shamsi as Group CEO reflects our confidence in his ability to lead Trojan Construction Holdings through its next phase of growth.” Al Shamsi has 25 years of leadership experience in the oil and gas, infrastructure, and construction sectors. He has experience in operational improvement and business expansion projects, including operational transformation in the construction sector and mergers and acquisitions. Trojan Construction Holding is currently engaged in various projects with Modon Properties and Emaar Properties.

The appointment reflects Trojan Construction Holdings' strategy to improve its presence in the regional construction industry. The company is set to take advantage of international growth opportunities available to construction firms from the Middle East, in addition to executing complex infrastructure projects that contribute to the development of the UAE and the GCC.
