TVS Supply Chain Solutions challenges NCLT order on 5.03 INR crore dues from ZTE Telecom India in NCLAT.
TVS Supply Chain Solutions has announced that it has lodged a legal appeal against a recent financial matter order issued by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) with ZTE Telecom India Pvt. Ltd. The logistics and supply chain solutions provider stated it had appealed the order of 9 October 2025 issued by the NCLT's Chandigarh Bench to the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal in New Delhi under Section 61 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016. The legal proceeding relates to operational dues claimed by TVS Supply Chain, because of the services rendered by TVS Supply Chain to ZTE Telecom India, by way of a commercial arrangement with ZTE Telecom India Pvt. Ltd.
This was disclosed under Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations, which requires listed companies to inform investors of material litigation. TVS Supply Chain said in the filing: "The matter concerns operational dues claimed by the Company due to work provided under the business arrangements between the parties. While part-payments were made, certain amounts are unpaid." The National Company Law Tribunal dismissed the petition filed by TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited to initiate insolvency proceedings against ZTE Telecom India Private Limited in its order dated October 9, 2025 dated on an alleged default around 5.03 INR crores.
The NCLT held the petition based on its finding of a "preexisting dispute" between the parties, which was one of the essential elements under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC). The tribunal found that ZTE Telecom had been objecting to the invoices and the quality of services provided by TVS Supply Chain well before it issued the formal notice of demand under the IBC in July 2018.
