Bhumi Pednekar stuns in a black and gold lehenga perfect for the upcoming wedding season celebrations.
Bhumi Pednekar is prepared for the upcoming "Shaadi Season"! The stunning actress turned heads in a black and gold lehenga set by designer Masaba Gupta. She brought bridesmaid energy in a look that certainly makes its way onto the "what to wear at a wedding?" moodboard. The edgy sculpted tube blouse and fancy embroidered lehenga skirt offers glamorous contemporary flair to Bhumi's fashionable look. The rich, embellished color palette seeing Bhumi look like a dream come true. The actress also went on to post a few images on Instagram of her look captioning, "Nazar na lage. One of my favorites this shaadi season." The look was styled by Nidhi Jeswani, and the Aankhon ka Paigam width House of Masaba. The embroidered lehenga displays enlarged khidki and chand motifs on the front kali (panel) constructed in detailed moti work, sitara kaam business and fine cutdana in rich gold tones with patches of black tissue.
The lehenga, made from organza, has been constructed with 12 kalis (panels) as a regal homage to the grandeur of Indian weddings. The showstopper of this statement lehenga is a tube blouse that is hand stitched in heavy raw silk. The strapless sweetheart neckline, enhanced with an abstract placement of the chaand motif, is sure to be a favorite this wedding season. Bhumi completed the desi aesthetic with a black organza sash that also had the Gul Jharoka motif, finished with beadwork and a scalloped border. The look was incorporated with jewels from Shri Paramani Jewels including, a choker, bangles, maang tika and a ring from Vasundhara Jewelry.
The jadau polki choker and maang tika, with a modern sculpted silhouette were made by meticulous artisans in India. She also carried an Amama Jewels Basra Nano bag that was a bold reimagining of Afghani motifs done in 22 karat antique gold plating with faux pearls attached. The final glamorous appearance was confirmed by the artistry of makeup artist Nicky Rajani and hairstylist Jyoti Mandre. A fresh glam look and dreamy images, created by photographer Rohn Pingalay, added glam factor to the wedding look.
