WisdomAI raises $50M to speed up analytics with AI-driven automation, unstructured data processing and Agentic insights.
WisdomAI Inc., a startup focused on utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance the speed of analytics projects, announced today the completion of a $50 million funding round. WisdomAI has created a suite of software that automates manual data processing tasks using AI agents on a self-service basis. The company also claims that, aside from automating manual processes, its software broadens access to data sources companies may use in their analytics projects. Some business intelligence tools only ingest and support relational (row, column) information. WisdomAI can ingest unstructured data sources, such as PDF documents, or articles/podcasts from a knowledge base. “Agentic analytics finally fulfills the vision BI never could,” WisdomAI co-founder and Chief Executive Officer Soham Mazumdar wrote in a blog post today. “A system that doesn’t just show you what happened but tells you why, and what to do next. “
A data management engine called the Enterprise Context Layer powers WisdomAI’s platform. The company claims it collects records from multiple systems and prepares them for analysis automatically. The platform uses an organization's data dictionaries to determine how to process aggregated data. These files contain explanatory information about business records - for instance, what department generated them. WisdomAI can also acquire data management scripts from tools like dbt alongside business records. The scripts are automated code to assist with tasks such as screening out duplicate and erroneous information.
When the platform ingests a dataset, it allows users to pair questions about the data using a chatbot interface. It can either build an interface externally to allow an outside application to ask analytical questions or have an application-programming interface; to allow developers to embed it into their software. WisdomAI will rely on its new funding to further develop the integrations through which its platform links with third-party datasets. They are also looking to develop new AI reasoning and personalization features.
