Primelectric names Richard Nethercott as its new COO to support operations and expand nationwide while investing in renewables, smart grids, and AI solutions.

The Razon Group's Primelectric Holdings, Inc., announced plans to expand its operations in the Philippine electricity industry by appointing Atty. Richard Nethercott as its new Chief Operations Officer (COO). Nethercott’s appointment is in accordance with Primelectric's aim to strengthen its leadership with business and government professionals while supporting national expansion.

According to Primelectric President and CEO Roel Castro, "Atty. Nethercott brings valuable knowledge and management skills to our team with five years of experience managing the operations in the trading area for Philippine electricity." In previous roles as President of the Independent energy Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP), Nethercott managed the operations of the nation's energy trading floor, brought more than five years of experience to the table. In addition, he was a board director of the Philippine Electricity Market Corp. and researched law and energy policy at universities in Los Baños and the University of the Philippines.
