The international conference on "Nanotechnology for Better Living" was inaugurated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the University of Kashmir in India. Stressing the rising importance of nanotechnology to worldwide problems in sustainable living, healthcare, and the environment. Leading scientists, researchers, and scholars from all across the country came together for the five-day conference, jointly hosted by the University of Kashmir and IIT Hyderabad. Sinha supports the researchers to use extremely sensitive sensors based on nanotechnology to develop an improved early alert system for flash floods.
