The Bengaluru INDIA NANO 2026 conference, a flagship nanotechnology event, will take place August 3-5, 2026, at The Lalit hotel in Bengaluru. Jointly announced by Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) and the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), the conference will be organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka.

The conference aims to create awareness regarding the significance, applications, and future possibilities of nanoscience and nanotechnology among the students of degree colleges under the SVU system. The program understands how crucial it is to motivate as well as train researchers and scientists of the future in this fast-evolving sphere of science. The Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, Tata Narasinga Rao, explained the necessity of developing an interest in science among students. Professor G.U. Kulkarni from the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research in Bengaluru explained what possible opportunities nanoscience and nanotechnology could be associated with. According to SVU professor and Dean of Research and Development G. Narasimha, the programme provides students with a unique chance to learn about science using varied formats. The programme is tailored to match different learning styles and forms of engagement. Featured lectures will give knowledge and the latest information on recent developments in nanotechnology.
