The announcement was made during an event in Tirupati on Thursday evening, July 9, 2026, bringing together academic leaders and research professionals to display the conference's ambitious scope and objectives.

The conference aims to create awareness regarding the significance, applications, and future possibilities of nanoscience and nanotechnology among the students of degree colleges under the SVU system. The program understands how crucial it is to motivate as well as train researchers and scientists of the future in this fast-evolving sphere of science. The Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, Tata Narasinga Rao, explained the necessity of developing an interest in science among students.
