DWTC and EKFC partner to provide innovative, large-scale catering services for major UAE and GCC events.

DWTC Hospitality, a part of Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), partners with Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) to strengthen event catering and hospitality services across the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council. In this partnership, EKFC's large-scale food production skills and DWTC's event management experience are combined to offer complete catering services for major events. These services include everything, from operations and logistics to hiring and menu development.

"This partnership is an important achievement for us," stated Mahir Julfar, DWTC Executive Vice President. “By partnering with Emirates Flight Catering, we aim to increase the standard for catering major events and maintain Dubai's position as a worldwide location for high-notch events.” The partnership will start during the next Dubai Airshow, where DWTC and EKFC will provide services to VIP customers like the UAE Ministry of Defense and Dubai Civil Aviation's Royal Pavilion. In addition, they are going to partner on important events, including the Dubai World Cup, WHX, GITEX Global, and the Dubai International Boat Show. There will be greater opportunities for partnership due to DEC's current AED 10 billion growth in the future. Through this partnership, Dubai aims to set a new standard for food quality and strengthen its position as a major international center for travel, business, and events.
