Top stars clash at US Open 2025 starting August 26 in New York.

The countdown to the US Open 2025 has started, with the last Grand Slam of the season to commence on August 26 at Flushing Meadows, New York. Tennis enthusiasts worldwide are looking forward as sports icons such as Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka, Carlos Alcaraz, and Coco Gauff are all pre-booked for this year's event. Sinner and Alcaraz, the winners of the other three Grand Slams in the 2025 Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon, are likely to carry on their impressive rivalry. In the women's section, Sabalenka is followed by defending champion Gauff and six-time Grand Slam title winner Iga Swiatek.

The US will be represented most in the singles draw with 30 players (16 women and 14 men) receiving direct entry. Nine players will also join via protected rankings, 16 wild card entries, and 32 qualifiers.

The US Open Qualifying Tournament is scheduled from August 18 to 21. In a new initiative, the Mixed Doubles Championship is to be contested during the qualifiers on August 19 and 20 in an attempt to draw larger names.

This year's mixed doubles has star power galore. The fans can hope to see combinations such as Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu, Jannik Sinner and Emma Navarro, and Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud. Novak Djokovic, Olga Danilovic, Venus Williams, and Reilly Opelka will also feature. Defending champion Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will look to hold their title.
