New Baja Orange colour, off-road features, and advanced tech make Scrambler 400 X stand out.
Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the 2026 Scrambler 400 X across the world with an all-new colour option in the family. The star of the show here is the new Baja Orange colour option, which introduces a bright orange hue on the fuel tank and an aluminium-finish stripe. Although the same colour was added to the India-spec Scrambler 400 X recently, the global model has a different pattern. Aside from this visual transformation, the rest of the design of the bike is standard. The fuel tank receives tank grips for improved rider control, while the silver stripe hosts the classic Triumph logo. The remainder of the bodywork remains black-finished, while the front of the bike still features gold-colored USD front forks and a silver front fender to retain its tough and off-road-capable look.
Beneath the bonnet, the 2026 Triumph Scrambler 400 X comes with a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 398 cc engine that produces 39.5 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine comes with a 6-speed transmission and an assist and slipper clutch for easy and efficient motion. The suspension system of the bike includes a 43 mm USD front fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, both with a suspension travel of 150 mm, which enables the Scrambler 400 X to navigate both city roads and off-road surfaces easily. It gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels shod in block-pattern dual-purpose tyres for the best possible off-road performance.
Features include ride-by-wire, switchable dual-channel ABS, traction control, all-LED lights, Type-C USB charging port, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. Pitted against scrambler motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Scram 440 and Yezdi Scrambler, the 2026 Scrambler 400 X provides an excellent balance of performance, off-road capability, and stylish design, which makes it an apt choice for riders.
