UAE hospital group adopts AI and cloud tech to enhance patient care and efficiency.
Zulekha Healthcare Group, a leading private healthcare operator in the UAE, has announced an enormous digitalization with a collaboration of Oracle Health and Oracle Corporation. It has decided to transform its business as well as its healthcare operations by adopting cutting-edge technology systems.
During this process, Zulekha is going to utilize Oracle Health's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to transform clinical processes, automate clinical work, and facilitate better patient care. These systems will be hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which will provide them with a secure and scalable environment for managing patient data. The EHR system will most probably provide doctors and healthcare providers with an end-to-end perspective of patient history to enable them to make more informed medical decisions and enhance health outcomes.
For the updating of fiscal and supply chain operations, the Group will also adopt Oracle Fusion Cloud applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). These applications will be fully integrated with the hospital information system of the group for effective coordination and enhanced monitoring.
Salesforce Health Cloud and Marketing Cloud will be Zulekha's new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, providing staff a complete view of every patient across all channels—calls, emails, appointments, and messages. This will boost the Group's communication, patient engagement, and missed appointment rate.
Mastek, a digital engineering company, will be both the implementation partner of the ERP and CRM solutions.
Zulekha's Managing Director, Taher Shams, said that with the partnership with Oracle and Mastek, the efficiency, decision-making, and data safeguarding will improve, and patients will be at the center of care.
The tie-up is an important step forward in Zulekha Healthcare Group's mission to deliver smarter, more integrated, and patient-centric healthcare across the UAE.
