THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025 to Showcase Global Food Innovations in Bangkok

Asia’s top food trade show spotlights trends, tech, and Thai industry excellence.

THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2025, Asia's top food and beverage trade fair, will be held from May 27 to 31 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. This year, the highlight of the event will be "purpose-driven innovations" like dark chocolate beverages that induce sleep and brain function, and ready-to-drink protein shakes with superfoods to support digestion.

With more than 3,200 exhibitors from over 56 nations, including Thailand, the exhibition will welcome more than 90,000 trade visitors. The exhibition will also create over 98 billion baht worth of trade transactions within a year. More than 500 of the 1,184 Thai exhibitors are SMEs, and their products range from excellent foods and drinks to seafood and desserts.

Mathias Kuepper, Managing Director of Koelnmesse Asia Pacific, noted that the show reflects Asia's fast-changing consumer needs and allows businesses to bring new ideas to market quickly. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will also be showcased, showing how AI helps brands understand consumer behavior and speed up product development.

Emerging trends and innovations will be exhibited at special events like the Alternative Protein Challenge, Future Food Experience+, and the TasteInnovation Show.

It is supportive of Thailand's "Thai Kitchen to the World" policy that enables Thai entrepreneurs to expand worldwide. According to Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General, Department of International Trade Promotion, Thailand's competitive advantage lies in its diverse culinary culture and wealth of natural resources.

Australia, Hong Kong, and the Netherlands will all have new pavilions during THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2025. Business-to-business meetings will be conducted over the course of the five days, with the public allowed on the fifth day as well to provide an opportunity to see the future of food globally.
