Kalpan Desai Appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer of Atrangii Networks

Atrangii Networks appoints Kalpan Desai as new Chief Human Resources Officer to drive growth.

Over-the-top (OTT) platform Atrangii Networks has appointed Kalpan Desai as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective from today. Desai posted on LinkedIn that he has joined the roles of Chief Human Resources Officer at Atrangii Networks Pvt. Ltd. and Ullu Digital Ltd., being excited for what lies ahead.

With more than 18 years of comprehensive HR leadership across India, Dubai, the UK, and the US, Desai has earned a reputation for his ability to drive talent acquisition, culture change, and organizational development for multiple industries and geographies. His joining Atrangii Networks is in line with the company's desire to further enhance its human resources capabilities to meet accelerating growth in the competitive OTT entertainment market.

Desai posted, "The last few months have been a phenomenal ride—shaping game-changing talent strategies, driving cultural transformations, and creating high-performing teams in the fast-paced OTT entertainment world. Earlier, Desai was on a career break. Previously, he was Vice President – HR at Sony Pictures Networks, where he took an important role in the management of talent and organizational development. Desai has a long history of leadership in a number of reputable companies, including GroupM, HT Media, IndiaCast Media, Viacom18 Media, Jana Small Finance Bank, and B2B Bank.

Desai graduated from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in Surat, India, with a Master's degree in Human Resources Development. He is well-equipped to lead Atrangii Networks' HR department thanks to his extensive experience in a variety of industries and geographical areas. He will also help to create a vibrant workplace culture that supports the company's goals in the rapidly changing OTT market.

As the platform grows and innovates, his appointment is anticipated to hasten Atrangii's talent and culture initiatives.
