R&A Marketing and Pyxd launch integration to streamline AI-driven product merchandising for home furnishing retailers.
R&A Marketing, a complete advertising agency, has aligned with Pyxd, Inc., developer of the artificial intelligence-based product photography technology PyxMagic, to bring forth a revolutionary integration that will simplify digital merchandising for home furnishing retailers.
This integration of new technology makes it easy to construct online showrooms by allowing effortless transfer of product images created by PyxMagic directly to R&A Marketing-driven retail sites. Each image is pre-formatted and its SKU linked to it, visible on the backend as a draft product, awaiting completion by the retailer with prices and classification before being published.
The integration targets one of the biggest problems faced by retailers—to offer an online experience that embodies the quality of their in-shop showrooms. "A lot of retailers find themselves locked into using generic stock manufacturer images that do not translate with their company or clientele," R&A Marketing owner Kevin Doran explained. "With this integration, our customers can now take real store products, make studio-quality photos using PyxMagic, and publish them on their sites all in one step."
The project promises to reduce the historically time-consuming process of digital merchandising, providing retailers with substantial time savings and increased operational efficiency. PyxMagic's mobile app obliterates the need for costly photography equipment or image editing software, enabling retailers to create website-quality product images in the field.
Gaurav Sethi, co-founder of Pyxd, Inc., pointed out that this end-to-end merchandising solution is designed to be user-friendly. "We want technology to be accessible, fast, and empowering," he stated.
Retailers such as Miller Waldrop, one of the first to adopt the integration, have seen significant gains in efficiency. "It cut our product build steps down by a lot—saves us hours when building large catalogs," Brock Waldrop stated.
The integration is now accessible to all R&A Marketing clients that have a PyxMagic subscription for free.
