Seasoned HR leader to drive global talent strategy and culture at CBTL.
In March 2025, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) promoted Eoin Henry to Global Head of Human Resources (CHRO). In this position, Eoin will spearhead the company's people and culture global strategy, directing HR functions across over 1,200 stores in over 25 countries worldwide from the company's global headquarters in Singapore.
Eoin's promotion comes after his significant stint as Global Head of People Partners & Talent at CBTL, where he headed a global HR function across APAC and the US, encompassing business partnering, talent acquisition, people operations, and HR administration. He also had a stint as interim global head of HR for six months, during which he set up several talent and organizational culture programs.
Before he joined CBTL, Eoin worked at WeWork for more than four years, first as APAC Senior Director, Head of Talent & HR Business Partner, and subsequently as APAC & EMEA Head of Talent, where he managed a team of 25 HR professionals in 30 countries. His leadership was instrumental in growing the APAC business tenfold, guiding organizational restructuring, and building employee motivation through periods of high growth and transformation.
Before this, Eoin was APAC Human Resources Vice President of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for recruitment strategy and HR business partnering for corporate functions. Early on in his career in HR, Eoin also worked nearly a decade at Hays, where he was responsible for some leadership roles in recruitment, P&L management, and talent acquistion in technology and finance business units.
Eoin Henry's elevation to the role of CHRO at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf reflects the company's dedication to enhancing its human resources leadership as it continues its global expansion. His deep experience and strategic vision are anticipated to further advance CBTL's organizational culture and international HR operations.
