Precision meets performance in Starrett’s advanced vision systems and force testing innovations.
Leading the charge in precision measurement and quality assurance, The L.S. Starrett Company is showcasing its latest automated metrology and force measurement systems at The Quality Show (Booth #347), held April 16–17 at the Music City Convention Center.
Renowned for delivering high-accuracy solutions in industrial inspection, Starrett’s lineup highlights significant strides in automation, pattern recognition, and high-speed data capture—advancing efficiency in manufacturing quality control processes.
Taking center stage is the new AVR400 CNC Vision System, Starrett’s largest benchtop platform to date. Offering stage travel speeds up to 120mm/sec, the AVR400 enables high-throughput, repeatable measurements with enhanced precision in X-Y-Z axes. Designed for fast-paced production environments, it dramatically reduces cycle times while maintaining accuracy.
For manufacturers seeking a more manual yet accurate approach, the KMR-MX 200 Manual Vision System bridges the gap. It delivers the benefits of a video-based inspection platform without requiring a PC-based setup, making it ideal for cost-conscious facilities upgrading from traditional tools.
Also featured are Starrett’s HDV Horizontal Digital Video Comparator, which blends vision and optical comparator technologies, and the HD400 Horizontal Dual Lens Optical Comparator, offering instant switching between magnifications—boosting flexibility for multifaceted part inspections.
Starrett is equally emphasizing innovation in force testing. The company’s FMS Series Test Frame, demonstrated live, measures the force required to draw fluid in and out of a syringe—a critical test in medical device QA. Using Starrett’s L2Plus Software, the system accurately captures peak and average load data, ensuring consistent and validated results.
These systems are part of Starrett’s broader mission: to provide automated quality inspection tools that enhance productivity, reliability, and traceability in modern manufacturing environments.
As industries demand higher throughput and consistent product quality, Starrett’s cutting-edge solutions at The Quality Show reaffirm its commitment to empowering manufacturers with smart, scalable inspection technologies.
