Royal Enfield’s Classic 650 brings timeless design, modern features, and powerful performance together.
Royal Enfield is going to launch a new addition to its family, which is likely to be launched by the end of this month. The new model will be driven by the same 648cc twin-cylinder engine that powers the current 650 series bikes, producing 46.3 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed transmission, providing smoothness.
Meant to provide a combination of traditional looks and contemporary technology, the motorcycle will include LED lighting, a dual-channel ABS system, and a tripper navigation pod with smartphone compatibility. The motorcycle will look virtually identical to a market-leading 350cc model but will have a more aggressive stance and middleweight motorcycle proportions.
Suspension tasks will be undertaken by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, and brakes will be facilitated by a single disc at each end. A single-seat standard configuration will be provided, although there will be a bolt-on pillion seat as an optional accessory.
This bike will be the newest addition to the brand's 650cc platform, which includes a number of established models in its lineup. Strategically positioned in the brand's lineup, it should appeal to riders seeking a mix of retro looks and modern performance.
With its expected launch date drawing near, the motorcycle is likely to have a price range of Rs. 3.40 lakh to Rs. 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The fans are looking forward to its performance on Indian roads after getting good initial impressions from its global launch.
