AHLA strengthens leadership with Ralph Posner as Chief Communications Officer and Khristyn Brimmeier's appointment.
In order to strengthen its executive team and further the goals of the hotel industry, the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), the premier voice for all hotel industry segments, today announced two crucial senior leadership positions. Under the direction of President and CEO Rosanna Maietta, the AHLA's C-Suite team has significantly expanded with the appointment of Ralph Posner as chief communications officer and Khristyn Brimmeier as chief of staff.
All facets of AHLA's external communications initiatives, including member communications, media relations, and campaign strategy, will be managed by Ralph Posner, a seasoned communications specialist. In order to further the industry's policy agenda, he will also collaborate closely with AHLA's advocacy team. Posner has decades of experience in communications, handling reputational risks and raising awareness of advocacy issues at the local, state, and federal levels.
In her new position, Khristyn Brimmeier will support association priorities and important projects as a strategic advisor to AHLA CEO Rosanna Maietta. Brimmeier has over 25 years of experience in politics and strategic communications, managing teams and spearheading public affairs campaigns for a variety of corporate and nonprofit clients. Her most recent position was executive vice president of the lobbying and public relations firm Lot Sixteen. Brimmeier has previously worked on Capitol Hill and on a number of political campaigns.
With the words, "Ralph and Khristyn will be irreplaceable in advancing and expanding AHLA's mission to highlight the hospitality industry's importance to the American economy in every community we serve," Maietta showed confidence in Ralph and Khristyn's accomplishments. "As we step up our efforts to bring the hotel industry together and promote it, I am thrilled about the knowledge and experience our new team members will bring to service, support, and advocacy," he added. Their addition further proves AHLA’s dedication to its mission as the nation’s essential resource for the American hospitality industry.”
