MSMEs Contribute 48% of India's Exports, LeRemitt's LeDoc Aims to Simplify Documentation

LeRemitt's LeDoc targets MSME challenges by streamlining compliance, reducing paperwork, and supporting business growth.

LeDoc, an Al-powered platform created to simplify trade documentation and compliance management, has been launched by LeRemitt, a fintech platform that specializes in enabling cross-border payments for MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) exporters of goods and services.

According to the company, LeDoc is the newest member of LeRemitt's Global Trade Verse, a comprehensive cross-border platform that uses industry knowledge and technology to streamline international trade. A group of experts who were aware of the difficulties MSMEs encounter in global trade formed LeRemitt.

According to CM Envirosystems Pvt. Ltd.'s founder and chairman, Jacob Crasta, who introduced the software, "LeDoc is poised to revolutionize the way exporters manage documentation and compliance." He went on, "This platform will assist exporters streamline their backend procedures because compliance and documentation take a lot of time.

Indian exporters are important to the economy, and the Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI) study released on December 31, 2024, projects that India's overall exports of goods and services will reach $814 billion in 2024, a 5.58% growth. He came to the conclusion that "this technological intervention will significantly benefit our overall exports."

MSMEs make up around 48% of India's merchandise exports, according to Sheetal Jain, co-founder and CEO of LeRemitt. Few technological solutions are available to solve their unique issues, despite their critical importance. Government services are becoming more digital, but exporters need to be prepared to capitalize on this development. "We identified documentation as a major challenge for exporters," she continued. Our goal with LeDoc is to streamline compliance, lessen paperwork, and free up MSMEs to concentrate on more effectively expanding their companies.
