Kate Sberna appointed CHRO to drive HR strategy and enhance employee engagement at Marcone Group.
Marcone Group recently announced Kate Sberna as its Chief Human Resources Officer, the distributor of appliance, HVAC, plumbing, commercial kitchen, and pool and spa parts and equipment for North America. In this role, Sberna will lead 2,500 employees in its human resources strategy as the company continues on its rapid growth trajectory.
With more than 25 years of experience devoted to talent development, employee engagement, and workforce strategy, Sberna brings depth and breadth to her new role. She has held several senior HR leadership roles at Venterra Realty, United Site Services, Sterling Construction, and Aggreko throughout her career as a leader in leadership development, performance management, and succession planning programs.
Sberna looks forward to moving forward with the mission of Marcone to make the people-related decisions better in the organization. "Our emphasis has been on helping managers develop tools, processes, and leadership to enhance decision making," she elaborated. "We will seek to establish a culture of better people decisions positively impacting our organization and growth."

This appointment is at a time when Marcone has tripled in size through acquisitions and new initiatives in markets it serves. Marcone is ready to further shape its employee-centric culture under Sberna as the head of HR, paving the way for continuous success thus far.
